I wanted to like this grill but it just wasn’t up to the task. The pellets never fed right so it kept flaming out. In 2 weeks I went thru 4 igniters. The control unit finally had an “unspecified error” and stopped working. I took it back to the store. I believe Weber is unparalleled in charcoal and gas grills and I use my other Weber summit grills weekly. Sorry Weber, I still love your products and your customer service but this one had to go.

When it works its great. Ive had numerous flame outs when using smoke feature. Had a flame out during a long cook because pellets captivating in hopper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great grill, easy to use, awesome flavor. Was a little concerned based on reviews of the 1st gen but haven't experienced any of those and really happy with the purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a smoker as a close friend had one of the competitors product and I loved the taste of the food. I decided to go Weber as I own 3 other weber grills and had a great experience all around with the products and the company. I had friends over for ribs including my friend with the other guys grill and I put out unbelievable ribs for everyone. The next day 3 of my friends went out and purchased the SmokeFire including the guy with the other guys grill! Smokes great, easy to clean and use. If you are making steaks, try reverse searing them; smoke for about an hour low and hit them at 600 degrees, best steak you will ever have!!
uneven heat not space between cooking racks wait time to turn off grill to long
