I've been very happy with my grill. I've smoked about 30 full briskets since I purchased the grill and it has worked flawlessly. I've used different brands of pellets with no issues. Being able to control the grill from my phone has freed my time up so that I can work on completing the entire meal. Very happy!
Overall this is a very nice high quality built pellet grill. Plenty of grill/rack space in the 36" model. The app and interface are very easy and straight forward in use. The only reason for 3 stars instead of 4-5 is the consistency of heat distribution across the grill (outer 1/3 of each grill is no where near temp of center. The built in recipe/grilling is great. However, probe temps if setting temp alert will vary by port with same probe. Should be consistent and at times will not read properly. Not sure "2nd Gen" addressed all these issues in full.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your Smokefire EX6. We are so sorry to learn your experience did not match your expectations. We are happy to help.
We wanted to share some tips with you for uneven heating.
It is important to make sure your grill is fully preheated with the lid closed before adding food.
After preheating, the heat will start to even out. When you open the lid, the Smoke Fire engine will start running harder to keep the temperature up. When the lid is open, especially for extended periods of time, outside factors such as wind can redirect the flame and heat.
It sounds simple, but keep that lid closed for the best results.
We want to know more about your experience with the probes.

Well when I bought mine the blacked out edition wasn't available now it is an I wish mines was the blacked out edition any chance sending me the 2 handles the right hand counter space and the casters I would be so appreciative .I deff love my Ex6 I also have last years genesis 4 burner with sear station I've been a weber fan for over 26 years have had over 8 different weber grills wish I had a weber banner for my back yard
Glow plug blew out after 30 seconds of use. The meat that was to be grilled was wasted. I installed the new glow plug assembly, then my fuse blew. I called Webber and got no sympathy or understanding. The store I bought my grill from is swapping this Ex6 with the stealth EX6. Let’s hope that experience is better. I have been loyal to Weber all of my adult life. That stops after this purchase. How can a machine be built so poorly? Moreover, how can “customer care”, show such little care. This is not an inexpensive grill. It however does seem to be cheap! At this point I’ve had the EX6 for almost two months and I have not been able to use it. What a waste of money and time!!!

The Webber smoke fire has been an Incredible grill. I’ve seared steak, roasted whole chickens, smoked ribs for six hours, and BBQ’ed great hamburgers without an issue. However, for this 4th of July I tried to make a brisket and the grill failed. Due to a bridge in the pellets, and without a warning of falling temperature, the grill simply shut down. The brisket lost its temperature and set back the eating schedule by four hours. I have to say until today it has been the best grill/smoker I have ever owned, but unfortunately my experience with the gen 2 Webber SmokeFire now has a major blemish in it and I will have second thoughts about doing another long cook, without babysitting, on it in the future.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your Smokefire EX6. We are so sorry to hear of your frustration with the pellet hopper. We will be sure to share this information with our team.
We suggest starting with a full hopper at the start of your cook and periodically checking the hopper to be sure the hopper stays full throughout your cook.
The grill will use 1-2 lbs of pellets per hour during low and slow cook temperatures and 3-5lbs pellets per hour during high heat cook temperatures. Hopefully, this is helpful.
Our Support team will also follow up via email. Please look for our outreach soon. Thank you!
It doesn't work. Weber please call me and replace the grill. It hasn't worked...first the glow plug starter kit (3 times) and now it won't even turn on. It's a glorified paperweight that does not work ever
