So far so good! I’ve used my SmokeFire twice and it has performed very well. The Weber Connect feature works great and sends updates right to my phone so I don’t have to spend a lot of time babysitting anything.
Looking forward to the summer to use it more often.

Puts out amazing food, even with a novice smoker using it. Would like to give it 4.5 stars bc the hopper (upgraded one) still doesn’t feed great and is hard to fill up without spilling pellets everywhere bc it’s narrow and behind the grill. I clean it regularly and have no problems. App remains a work in progress but continues to improve.

The Weber Smokefire is a great pellet grill option that offers convenience, flavor, versatility, competitive pricing, and Weber’s excellent customer service support.
Coming from gas grills and charcoal smokers, there was a slight learning curve but Weber and specifically WeberBBQAusNZ currently has some amazing YouTube tutorial videos that both educate and provide inspiration. I hope Weber U.S. comes out with some videos soon that are of the same caliber as their counterpart down under.
Since purchasing the Smokefire, and completing many successful cooks, I’m confident it can replace both my gas and charcoal grills. Wifi connectivity and app capabilities are great for monitoring long cooks while going about your day.
4 out of 5 star rating because 5 year warranty on cookbox is not up to par with their other products, 3 year warranty on electrical components does not really inspire confidence in a flagship product, and no replacement parts currently available online to understand full cost of ownership as parts need replacement.

Great smoker even in the cold

I read all the positive reviews recently and agree. Ex6 is a great smoker. It has operated flawlessly for about 15 cooking sessions which includes pork butt, turkey breasts and wings. I am writing to add that the smoker performs well when it’s 20 deg F outside. It uses more fuel but it maintains temperature very well. This is important if you live up north. Smoking can be done year round. I bought the Weber because of having a Summit that has worked flawlessly for the past 6 years.

First was a 9lb brisket and second was a meatloaf. Both turned out great and every feature worked - timer, smokeboost, temp probes, hopper, feeding...
Don’t hesitate and just buy it!
