I've used both wood burning

I've used both wood burning and propane for my Ooni. The propane is easier, cleaner, and more controllable heat source. I don't know that the wood imparted any extra flavor. The propane at full blast is great for quickly heating the stone, but needs to be turned down once the pizza is in to avoid cooking or burning the toppings before the crust is crispy thru and thru.

Never stays lit

As much as I want to love my Karu 12G, the gas burner ruins any chance. All I want to do is have a quick setup and cook using gas. The issue, no matter what I do the burner will not stay lit. The troubleshooting on the Ooni website does nothing. This gas burner is the worst burner I’ve ever dealt with. Something needs to be done to remedy this issue. It is not just mine, it is a known issue.

Broken stone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used it 4 times since purchasing. The stone broke and needs replaced. The oven works well but 4 times before I have to buy another stone! No impressed by that fact.
