Loves the Gas Burner Option

We like using lump charcoal

We like using lump charcoal but you can’t beat the convenience of the gas burner. Great for cleaning the stone as well.

Great fit, but has lighting issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install and the kit fit perfectly. However, I followed all instructions and watched numerous YouTube videos but this unit will not light on its own. This uses the same technology as gas grills, yet I have never had an issue with those not lighting.

Gas burner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the gas burner is very easy to use I have two problems with it
1. Conflicting instructions on the use of the smoke stack. One instruction book said to remove the stack and insert the plug while another one said remove the plug and insert the stack. One book was the oven instructions and the other book was the gas insert instructions. I finally asked another user and used the stack

2. All configurations result in excessive soot. Hard to clean. The flame is not blue as it should be. It is orang/yellow indicating poor combustion. It does heat to 600+° I will use it but I prefer using wood/ charcoal.
