The straw spout is perfect. I don't find myself "chugging" very often because the straw feature is so nice. The only downside I have is that it's a little bit hard to close the lid.

I bought this for my son who is in high school. Due to Covid, they aren't allowed to use water fountains and needed to bring water bottles. He carries it daily and loves it!
