This review may be wordy, sorry in advance. I just want you to believe my passion behind this product! I can't tell you how many bottles and cups I've tried in the past, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'd *always* just resort to filling up a random plastic water bottle with no lid and use it to chug water throughout the day. It was easy, no twisting off a cap or lid. My boyfriend would make fun of me because when it fell over (and it always would) the plastic water bottle just make a tsunami on the floor. He begged me to get a decent bottle I'd like, and actually use. Along came a random ad for Owala. I didn't initially purchase a , but when he was looking to upgrade his tired old twist off quart bottle, I showed him the ad. We said, "what the heck, seems legit." It was, my friends, indeed legit. :)
I loved the purple and he got the black. Immediately upon my first sip I said, "whoa--really?" The straw function is has the best suction I've ever had in any straw. It's takes barely any effort to get a big swig, or a dainty sip. I just love it! My boyfriend is more of a chugger, so he took off the straw and chugs his. He loves the locking feature and the fact it fits in his car cupholder (24oz version)
When we realized how much we loved these bottles we've spread the word. Every one of our family and friends now has one (or more--because they adore them too!) I think I've bought close to 30 bottles--so this is no fly by night review. I hope Owala gets huge and comes out with more amazing products and colors. For the price, you can't afford not to try it! You won't want another bottle, promise! <3

I love water bottles (I buy them the way many women purchase shoes). This is by far my favorite bottle. The straw is fantastic and the option for either use of the straw or open-mouth is unique and lovely. There are very few parts, so less to clean (or to get moldy, as others bottles do). The colors are bright and best of all, it s dishwasher safe!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this water bottle. I ve paid much more for other brands and Owala is hands down my favorite! As an RN, keeping my water super cold is important! This water bottle does the job - looks great, easy to use, and just the right size. I fill it up with ice cubes in the morning and after 12 hours they re still there! Great purchase!

I almost never use straws, but there s something very satisfying about this built-in straw! You get a lot of volume for minimal effort. I use it more than the bigger opening. It s everything I need for a water bottle, and I like the covered mouthpiece for sanitary purposes. My only wish is that it would be nice to cover the mouthpiece without locking it in place each time. (I would prefer it without the spring opening.)
