Certainly some real issues with this model. A new model has been introduced to address some of the problems. I had some questions and needed to buy a $0.25 part to make this compatible with my camera. Customer service was horrible, changing their position and finally just dropping my order. Product may be OK but certainly customer service is not a priority for management. And that would be a real concern when and if anything goes wrong with any of their products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
