Works, but This is a Single Component Only

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is only one part of a setup that requires many other pieces if it's to be used as a part of a security system for home or business. The entire Ring series of security devices includes cameras, lighting, doorbells, two-way speakers, batteries, sirens, etc. It also requires an app to view. The system is designed to work with Alexa and for added cost, can be part of a monitored system and can include cloud storage for video from the camera(s).
It's a pricey system, but it does work if you spend time planning a full system. The camera can be used indoors or out, and can be used to simply monitor an area (not part of a full security setup), allowing the user to check the app and see pictures. For example, it can be used to keep an eye on the baby's room or allow a group to "talk to Grandma" from far away, which is very handy -- just remember to disconnect from your network and cover the camera if you're concerned, as we are, about privacy and the possibility of hacking and other bad intent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the features and quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was super easy to set up in the app that I already had for my Ring doorbell. Just involves scanning the QR code and getting connected to my Wi-Fi which happened seamlessly.
The voice on the camera tells you what is going on as the installation is happening.
The picture is great and does a good job of capturing images even if the lighting is not very good. I have used it both inside and out since I am not sure where I want to mount it yet. It stands up easily on its own with a rubber base that keeps it from moving around. Love that it is wireless and that it isn’t constantly falling over.
The sound quality is also good. People can hear me clearly and I can hear them back.
I like the customizable settings to where I can adjust the level of sensitivity for motion alerts, can connect it with my Ring doorbell to combine alerts and can adjust the zones I want alerts from.
The connection with my Wi-Fi network has been solid although I haven’t been able to test it in rainy weather since it just doesn’t do that here! But, strong winds have not disturbed it.
Completely happy and very much recommend Ring products.

Good Camera for front door or a room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we like the Stick Up Camera (battery model) but we live on an acreage and we wish the range on the motion detector went further out. Does a good job of detecting people and pets within a 5 to 10 foot radius. Like that it notifies when there is motion (part of the subscription fee). The subscription fee is very affordable and I think this would be perfect for someone living in town. Currently we are considering to add a second of these cameras to improve the coverage area since we have an acreage. Cameras can be connected so all of them can be monitored from the app. Seems to do well in inclement weather and does show fairly decent images at night.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to install. Picture quality is clear and not grainy. There is an option to hang on the siding and attach to the house, but I have it standing inside on the window instead. (Already have video doorbell and needed something for another angle.) It stays balanced and when the blinds are shifted, it remains in place. Motion sensitivity has been pretty good and alerts well.

Versatile Security Camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ring Stick Up Camera was easy to set up. The app you download to your smartphone walks you through setup, it's easy to navigate and has a great layout!
I love the cameras wireless feature, it makes this camera so much more versatile.
The instruction manual is easy to follow as well.
Having the app installed on my phone, I can keep an eye on my home, I get a notification when motion is detected, and I love that you can talk to the person whose on the other side via the camera.
The battery is rechargeable, I do recommend getting a backup battery. (I will be purchasing one here real soon)
Ring also has an app that you can download to your smartphone.
Ring does offer Ring Protect subscription; at this time I am not going to purchase.
Right now I am perfectly content knowing I
can watch over my home from anywhere.

Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This security cam was easy to set up... only took minutes. I have this watching my front door. We live back off the road so I am able to see who is coming in the driveway and who is at my door without opening it first. We have lots of wildlife so sometimes it is only a squirrel, chipmunk or deer. Also when placed indoors there us window glare, but that is explained to you in the setup.

The app was easy to install and navigate, very user friendly. The Stick up can be used as a nanny cam, a security cam or just monitoring the children from another room. Great cam for busy families since its portable.

Great pictures!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera was easy to set up and connect to the app. I was disappointed that there were no instructions as to how to use the camera. Many people may think it is self-explanatory, but suggestions for placement and how to get the best use of your device would be appreciated. I connected mine to my Echo dot and it announces movement without the necessity of hearing my phone. I think having a screen like on the Echo Show would really enhance the experience. I have not had a great experience with the two-way communication. There is a lot of static and by the time I engage the microphone, I am already at the door.
The camera takes great pictures and the accuracy is excellent. I see my mailman deliver my mail every day. It is fun getting a notification on my phone whenever I get a delivery, no matter where I am.
I would recommend this to a friend!
