Great camera!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this Ring camera so far. I love that it can be indoor or outdoor. It is very easy to install and hang up, if you would like. It is also great for just standing. You can move it to any room if you want.

Works OK but requires lots of fine tuning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still unsure about this camera. I will say that the video quality during the day and at night are quite good. Its the software on my phone and on my PC that need to be upgraded - which Ring is fully capable of doing. For example, my office doesn't have direct access to the front of the house, where the camera is located. Therefore, I would like to bring up a web page, and get a "live" view. That option isn't available. I have tried to position this camera inside a window (with a front view), and directly outside. The inside location doesn't work well, while the outside location works very well. Since there is a battery inside, you need to position the location so that it is easily accessible to recharge that battery. In general, the hardware works well, but its up to the Ring team to make the software better and provide more viewing options.

You are able to use Live View to stream real-time video from your Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cameras on the Ring app or on Ring.com without a Ring Protect subscription. Great security camera!

I chose this stick up camera that you use with a battery so that I didn't have to worry about plugs and that sort of thing. This camera has been going for a couple of weeks now with no issues. The battery life is awesome! The video quality is really amazing, and all of the features are just excellent. I like the motion detection feature a lot. This camera is lightweight and easy to install and has worked out wonderfully for what we need it for. I recommend it!

Perfect size

Thank goodness my husband thought to do this. We had trespassers a few times but as soon as they see our lil camera, they left quickly.

Nice little camera that doesn't required an outlet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera comes well-packaged and the instructions are clear and straightforward. The camera is small and very easy to put up. The picture quality during the day is pretty clear, and fairly decent at night. Adjusting to get the angles you want is very easy to do with the basic mount it comes with, the package includes all the hardware needed to install it. The camera gives me a nice wide view of my driveway and all the way to the houses across the street. The app is easy to use, and you could adjust a zone that you want monitored fairly easily. It is small but solid, the camera weight is less than 1lb. The two-way sound works well, it picked up conversations of people walking past the house on the sidewalk. The camera performed fine with respect to recording and in freezing weather. There are some lag at times with the recording/motion. Sometimes I only see my mailman/delivery person walking away, but a lot of times it'll catch the person walking toward the house. My main issue with this camera is the battery life. The traffic in front of my house is fairly quiet, but after a few weeks of usage the battery on this camera is currently reading 60%. It's a shame that the battery life is on the ok side, so you either need to have another battery pack as a back up or use the solar panel. Overall, this little camera does what I need it to do without having to run a bunch of wires all over the place, and allow me to see the activities outside of my house while I'm not home (most of the time).

Still figuring it out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have some other ring cameras outside and a ring doorbell. I like how this one is also battery (which lasts awhile), and it integrated into my ring app well. The only issue I'm still dealing with is how to get it to record upon sensing motion. I click the setting to do so but then it unclicks it. I pay for the ring subscription so not sure why it's not keeping the preferred setting intact. Otherwise it's a similar camera quality compared to my other ring cameras.

Great device with easy setup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this device and I am very impressed! My favorite component is that this is not wired or installed in static position. I can move this outside, inside, basically anywhere I like, whereas my other security cameras cannot be moved and can only film in the location they are installed. Maneuverability with easy setup is awesome and I highly recommend this product!!

Great pet cam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is easy to use and has very nice picture quality. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and am very happy with it. We first had it looking out over the back deck but found the motion detection feature missed events, even on the most sensitive setting. We decided to use it as a pet cam instead and this has been great. The live view feature in the app lets me check in on them from anywhere and I can hear and talk to them through the camera. The app is easy to navigate and the neighborhood alerts are helpful. The battery lasts forever - my main concern was needing to frequently recharge it but after 2 weeks it still has over 50% battery life remaining. I love that it’s cordless and moving it to a different location is as easy as picking it up and setting it back down somewhere else, no messing with needing to find an outlet. Very useful little device!
