Ring Stick Up Cam Battery White Is one of Ring's most versatile security camera. It can be used inside or outside of your home and can be mounted virtually anywhere. With moderate usage, the battery generally last 4-6 months before needing to recharge the unit. It has fantastic HD camera quality as well as a mic and speaker so you can record and communicate through the device as well. This is a great addition to any security system.

Pros and cons

Pros: the camera is easy to set up, quality is good, easy to install, and the battery life is fairly long Cons: for some reason the camera doesn’t pick up every motion and you have to basically be watching live to be able to catch the movements. The recording and saving history quality isn’t as good as the doorbell cam

Motion Frequency is a control in the Ring App that allows you to customize Motion Alerts to your home environment and preserve battery life. Please ensure you have this set to frequent, in which motion detection always stays active. Here are instructions for changing this setting in the Ring app: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003477106-Understanding-and-Optimizing-Motion-Detection-with-Motion-Frequency.
Have you tried downloading the video file? You can download one video at a time from the Ring App, or download up to 50 videos at once from your account on Ring.com. Here are instructions for doing so: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001834066-Download-and-Share-Your-Ring-Videos. If you see a video that you feel might be a problem, follow the same steps as listed above, but on the final step, send the file to support@ring.com.

Peace of Mind

I have a set of two of these in my apartment. These give me a peace of mind and I feel much safer having them! They are also great to use to check on the cat when I’m not home!

This is a great camera, we use it in our backyard and it works wonders it’s also a perk that the battery lasts quite a while and we don’t need to constantly charge it.

Monitoring While Away.

We recently added a few of these cams in our house when we travel. They can be placed anywhere due to them being battery operated and it allows us to check in on our kitty from time to time. They are motion-triggered so we can see when she’s out and about, when our pet sitter shows up, or there is any unexpected motion inside the house.

Set up is easy and the app is very user friendly. Annoying that you have to pay for subscription but the community board is very helpful and insightful
