This toaster replaced a 25 year old Cuisinart toaster. My biggest complaint is that it doesn’t toast evenly. No matter which setting it’s impossible to get an even toast.

Allowing the selection of the type of bread & the mechanically lowering the bread is great. Unfortunately, the bread comes out a nice & even golden brown but the other side comes out an uneven light (almost white) to brown which is why I replaced my 3 year old Cuisinart. Uneven browning.
