Nice toaster that toasts evenly, but leaves small white stipes on both sides of white bread. This was a gift, but I had a Cuisinart motorized 4-slice before that had very uneven toasting (all 4 slots). Like the 4-slice model, the "single" slice button does nothing. Both models made in China.
