I purchased this toaster alittle over 6 months ago- 2 weeks ago the heating elements stopped working VERY disappointed as my mother has one for about 10 years now I will say that customer service was excellent in getting me a new one sent out but it still took a week with no toaster

This is our third toaster in four months. The first toaster didn’t do ‘dark’ and I prefer dark toast. It would take more than two cycles on ‘7’ (the darkest setting) to get the toast past pale. I contacted Cuisinart and, after sending proof of the cord cut, sent me a new one (a newer model even). The second toaster was great for dark toast - one and done. However, it leaked a sort of gloppy grease out of the bottom of the toaster. I contacted Cuisinart and, after sending proof of the cord cut, sent me a replacement. The current third toaster doesn’t do ‘dark’ either. I’m considering contacting Cuisinart for a refund as I’m not sure I want to have to run my bread through two or more cycles on ‘7’. Stay tuned! I like the toaster…it just needs to operate as expected.
Trust me, I appreciate that Cuisinart stands behind their products. I’m just disappointed their toasters don’t appear to be up to snuff as we’ve experienced in the past with their products.

The motorized functionality is not only so cool, it actually is easier on the bread, and it's super cool too! LOL Love the multiple different options for Bagels, Waffles, White bread, Pastry, Whole wheat, English muffin!
