My first purchase and it is a good starter for a first time user. I have a 4 because the space to put ingredients in while mixing is not enough to not touch the attachment. Maybe I just need to practice more.

Rubberized mixer paddle should be added!

Just purchased my Cuisinart stand mixer and I really like it except for 1 thing --
I can't get a rubberized standard paddle so that it will scrape the sides of my bowl for me while mixing. I'm really surprised about this since I haven't had to do it manually with my Kitchen Aid for 18 yrs! I would highly suggest adding this to your accessories even if it is a special purchase. Stopping and starting the mixing to do this is like stepping back in time.

My 52 year old stand mixer provided many kitchen dishes, so researching 2023 stand mixers was intense. Cuisinart and the other top brand were the top contenders. I love this 5.5 qt Cuisinart and attachments- perfect choice! It’s quiet, the beater height was perfect right out of the box, its motor is quiet, and it is effortless. Thank you Cuisinart!

My mixer gave up the ghost and I have had it for 19 yrs. So I had to go shopping. I looked at Kitchen Aide ( was the one I had ) but was really out of my price range. So checked ratings on stand mixers and I noticed Cuisinart had good ones. I found one on sale with reasonable price. So I purchased it. I love it!!! It is sturdy and easy to use.
