Awesome for hiking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is so great to bring with you on hiking trips. We recently went to Vancouver/Whistler Canada and brought this on our hike and used it to see a bald eagle in the distance. It zooms really well and is lightweight.

Compact and quick, but a little unsteady

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I really like this. I'll be using it on my nature hikes and hunting adventures. It's quick and easy to use. Operation interface using the buttons takes a little time to get used to, but after a few trips out into the wild it became second nature. The connection to the phone app via wifi or bluetooth is very convenient. It makes review on a larger screen quick when necessary and for me very functional. I'd give this 5 stars, if it wasn't for the perceived lack of stabilization through the viewer at higher magnification. It's hard to keep my hand as steady as needed for the higher magnification. After using it for a couple weeks I really wanted a miniature tripod attachment point to use when in a bird blind, or out on the hunting trail. I can resolve the with a third party product, but it would be great if the next evolution had that input.

Great little bionoculars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These binoculars are pretty neat. You can zoom into things my favorite to zoom in on are the stars at night while laying in a hammock it makes you feel like you are so close to the stars even when you know your so far away

Great for bird watching

I received the Zoom Digital Monocular to review and I absolutely love it. I started bird watching late last year and it has been super helpful with starting this season. The placement of the zoom, camera and record buttons are easy to access very helpful to access when wanting to photograph quickly. I would absolutely recommend this monocular to anyone who has or is starting bird watching or any nature photography.

Nifty Device and Easy to Use

I received this device for free to test out and review. The device and instructions are pretty straightforward and easy to follow, though it did take me a moment to confirm I had turned the device on. I wish the indicator light was a little more prominent, perhaps on top of the device instead of underneath. Once up and running, I had a lot of fun zooming in on faraway objects and snapping some photos. The picture quality is a little low the more you zoom in, but that's to be expected. The device itself is very simplistic, with only a couple of buttons, which is great. It is also really compact, making it an easy item to pack into a backpack or suitcase. However, the device might be just a little too small, and the buttons too close together. I found myself needing to pull it away from my eye to be sure I was pressing the right button to zoom or take a photo. I wish it was just a little bit bigger. Overall, I think it is a fun device to use, though not necessarily one I'd use in place of a camera or even my phone's camera. I think it is a great idea for niche use.

Monocular Camera

I use my iPhone for most pictures but I liked the idea of a small monocular camera that could capture distant subjects. I received a free sample of this monocular camera to test and I am excited to try this on a bird watching trip.
Overall I do like the camera. It is definitely small and very light. It fits easily in the palm of my hand or pocket. It can focus on objects at a much greater distance than my iPhone.
However there are some features that could use some improvement.
Setting up the camera did take some time. The menu interface is not user friendly and it is awkward to toggle between several buttons. Also the battery life is limited at best.

Images can be fuzzy depending on the light. I definitely expected better focus. So far I have found the 400 mm zoom is the best. The 800 mm is ok but only in good light.
Also I have not found a way to view photos on the camera. Photos have to be downloaded onto a computer or with an app on your phone. I was able to sync to my phone and view the photos that way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
