A nice light with questionable longevity.

I enjoyed this light for a little over three years. I thought it has a clean aesthetic, but was slightly underpowered for me main kitchen light. I don't fault the light, but note for anyone who might want it as a primary light in a workspace area.
However in year 3, the lamp started acting irregular and finally stopped connecting. I tried resetting it several times, but couldn't connect even when using the serial number. I can't say it's worth the price in light of the longevity since if doesn't appear serviceable.
I'm a heavy hue user and have been a long time fan of the system. I'll replace it with a different hue light hoping this is a one off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for being a longtime Hue user and for sharing your experience with the Infuse ceiling lamp. We're sorry to hear that the light is no longer connecting as expected after several years of use. Before replacing it, we recommend power cycling the light to place it back into pairing mode, removing it from your phone's Bluetooth device list, and then trying to add it again using the serial number. It may also help to change the Zigbee channel in the Hue app by going to Settings > Bridges > Select your Bridge > Zigbee channel > Change channel and testing the light after each change. Since there are four available Zigbee channels, we recommend trying all of them if needed. If the issue persists, please reach out to our support team and we'll be happy to investigate further: https://www.philips-hue.com/en-us/support/faq#contact.
I have over 50 hue products in my home. This is the first one that’s really been a disappointment. Started flickering and then became unreachable six months after the warranty ended! I would not recommend this product.

The light itself is great. Easy to install, works well, bright enough, etc. But it loses at least one star (maybe even two) for the app. Hue once had an easy-to-use app that was re-written and is incredibly not intuitive. Truly, they should throw it out, hire new software engineers with experience with customer interface/UX and start over.
It’s great. It works as well as the other lights we have already set and the light strip behind the tv. My only issue is that the light will power on and off with my hue light switch but it will not change the color as it does like our other lights do.
I was excited to receive the lights, but upon arrival and unboxing, I was highly disappointed at what I found; cheap plastic materials and not something worth the amount I paid for these lights. I was expecting more features than expected. All around, disappointed.
