[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked beautifully out of the box. It’s heavy so don’t think of it as a replacement for an everyday carry around laptop. Touchpad is archaic compared to my 2015 MacBook Pro, but assume most users will be using a mouse. Screen is large enough to do plan review with Bluebeard Revu without a second monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got it and pulled it out of the packaging I was amazed by the size. It was a beast, it felt more like a portable desktop in laptop form. I'm using it to learn unreal engine and film production stuff, and the screen size is perfect for being able to see everything clearly without having to lean in. The performance also deserves the title of beast for me. Maybe I'm just used to slower hardware and there is likely bias with a brand new computer vs one that's already weighed down with applications and usage. Regardless, I enjoy the power this thing has.
One thing to make sure to consider is the fact that it is massive and 2 inches thick. The vast majority of laptop bags and cases will not fit this laptop, it is too big. Make sure your bag is rated to fit an 18 inch laptop, I'm not kidding. You'd be surprised how hard it can be to find one.
