Real top-end laptop, but some annoying features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a blazing fast laptop with with great graphics and most of the functionality you would expect. Love the fingerpront sensor. That being said there are some annoying issues. First for a large lapop there are not enough ports. I would like to see 2 more USB B and 2 more USB ty7pe C ports. Since this is not an apple pc why all the thunderbolt ports. I also do not like that the type c ports are all on the back face.

P17 Gen 2 ULTRA High End Development Workstation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a 6-core Xeon W-11855M processor, 128 GB RAM, 16 GB NVIDIA RTX A5000 and 6 TB of M.2 2280 SSDs (1 each 2TB at Gen 4 speed and 2 each 2TB at Gen 3 speed), this ThinkPad P17 Gen 2 mobile workstation for me is more appropriately a complete mobile development network, more than capable of handling the multitude of virtual development environments I need to run simultaneously on a daily basis. All this at blazingly fast speeds and wrapped up into a single, sleek 17" laptop, which allows me to be totally mobile, if and when I need to be, having my entire development network with me. Mobility is very important to me and the ThinkPad P17 Gen 2 more then satisfies my needs in or out of the office, without sacrificing the performance of having multiple desktops.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great laptop. I'm around two weeks in with this unit and have enjoyed it so far. The video clarity is much better than my old laptop. Processor is fast, everything has been smooth with setup. It does plug & play very well. No issues at all. My only complaint is that it needed several software updates when it arrived, but no problems with the installation. I would buy this laptop again.

I really liked the texture because its easy to clean and will last longer than any "rubbed" surface. Screen is awesome, very bright and colors are precise. Sound could be a little bit louder, but for an workstation is good enough.
