[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop's form factor is excellent, very ergonomic. The screen is also very good, crisp and true to color. Just the right number of ports, and the base model has really good specs. A really well made business laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First laptop I've had I'm a while, and boy I am impressed! It feels very sturdy, and although a tad on the heavier side, is still very light weight. The processing speed is superb for a laptop, and I'm able to get my work done without much delays at all
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems like quality control at Lenovo has changed. The microphone did not work on my new laptop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lenovo is well know for high quality products. No exception with P15v. This 15.6" laptop is quite mobile. Crisp scren and good keyboard layout.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pretty pleased with this choice, and am excited to be a proud ThinkPad owner. I chose this one for the amount of memory it has, but I must say, despite being hated on by some online reviewers (who I think were discussing it for gaming mostly), the display is actually pretty great too. In my opinion anyway. It's WAY better than any of my other laptops' displays. And for reference, I have a brand new Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra (phone), and its display isn't as good as this ThinkPad's is.
My only qualm is that it does get fairly hot from time to time, but not like I was afraid it would at first. When it updated from Windows 10 to 11, it got pretty hot, but it hasn't really been more than midly warm since then. I keep it docked, at work and at home, so simultaneously running its own display, a normal monitor, and an ultrawide hasn't seemed to really warm it much.
Now that I know what the "red dot" is, I'm in love with the TrackPoint! Also love the keys on the TrackPad. The keyboard has great tactile response and layout. Again, way better than any other laptop I've ever owned.
I am very glad I went with a ThinkPad. The Hybrid dock was recommended with this one, and it's working well for my use. This laptop does NOT charge via Thunderbolt cable, though. I didn't do my research well enough to realize that before I bought it. And I do wish I'd gone with one that does, but a beast like THIS model just requires more power. (Insert Tim Taylor grunts here) So, if you want to take it back and forth between multiple work spaces, and don't want to have to take the whole power cord with you also, then go ahead buy an extra power supply with the laptop. (Or, do like I did and order a splitter for the dock so that it charges the dock and laptop at the same time.) Another thing to note is that the power supply goes into one side while the USB C plugs into the other side. This fact is pretty annoying. They should have put both on the same side so you only have to have cords coming out one side when docked. (Duh) All-in-all though, it's a great workstation.
Good performance for software development or gaming. Screen quality is awesome, not heavy, battery duration probably not as good as uktrabooks but is ok.
