[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After one full month of use this Gen 4 is leagues better than the Gen1 in terms of perforance and temperature regulation. I use the machine for work as a mechanical engineer and it is able to handle complex assemblies in CREO with ease. The Graphics card is a 3070 with max q. Make sure you update your computer immediately otherwise the fans may be running at full blast! I have also used it to play Apex legends a couple times and it seems to work fine.

I wouldn't buy it if I knew I'd have this experience. The screen randomly glitches out with repeats, black bars, and visual noise. Maybe related to web browsing? But this is an essential use of my computer, so I can't just "not browse the web". The coating gets stains like crazy also.
That said, I appreciate the build quality and the access to upgradable RAM and SSD. The screen is ridiculously nice (I got the ~4K) but battery life is horrible. Maybe 4 hours? I assume it would be better with the lower res screen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop looks nice. I like the soft feel of of the casing. Little heavier than I thought it would be. I did not buy it for gaming but for work. It is nice and fast for what I am using process simulation work. The finger print recognition is a nice feature. The charger is on the bigger and heavier side but not really an issue. So far so good but it has only been a couple of weeks.
