For as much computing power packed in as it has, it's still relatively light (not super lightweight, but not super heavy either).

Battery issues

My company purchased two Think Pad X1’s in late January 2022, for myself and another employee. By mid-March, one of them had a battery that stopped charging and died. It had to be sent in for repairs, presumably a battery replacement. Today, the second one died as well and is ready to be shipped in for repairs do the exact same reason. Both laptops were plugged into a power source that was confirmed to work (as they were powering secondary monitors). Both batteries stopped charging even though they were plugged in and the orange light was on, indicating they were charging. All within 3 weeks of each other and less than 3 months after purchase.
They operated fine when they worked but this is beyond disappointing. We’re a small start-up having to spend money for replacements computers and deal with customer delays because of the disruption. While I doubt anyone at the company will see or care, I won’t be purchasing Lenovo products in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very fast! The keyboard is awesome. Do I wish they still used the keyboard from the t450 series yes as it is my all time fav. However, this new keyboard has great key travel! The only downside is it can get a little noisy if one does not allow airflow from the bottom. Just make sure you don’t have it sitting on something where it can’t breathe and the fans won’t be heard. All in all a great machine!
