[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this notebook for the display, in this case a 16" LCD 4K display with a wide color range and good brightness. The screen is just what I wanted.
The rest of the notebook is fine. I did not buy a high end processor or graphics card but I don't need those. It is very fast for everything I'm doing, including software development. The large number of ports is very convenient and the extra SSD slot is a bonus.
It has taken a while to get my new Workstation set up. Transferring of files, Software programs, deleting old junk. So far, I love my new workstation, way faster than my old W530, I have no complaints about my old laptop that is why I am a return customer. Lenovo builds a good machine. Love doing my work on them. Thanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this set up for our GIS user and he was able to use it for 1 whole day before programs wouldn't launch and other hardware issues started to occur (Screen flickering, type lag, lagging performance). We paid big money hoping for a better machine than he was currently using, but this was anything but that. Support has not been helpful in resolving any of the issues. Wish it could be returned at this point because this is a lemon of a machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice machine, my only problem is it does not have a built-in RJ45 ethernet port. However it came with a separate dongle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best mobile workstations on the market. Can be loaded with great, cutting-edge features. Well built and nicely designed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lenovo P1 Gen 4 is a great solution for anyone who is looking for a workstation-grade laptop without the bulk and weight that usually comes with those kind of machines. The laptop is thin, light and sleek. It has a big screen with thin vessels, great keyboard, plenty of ports and a very good range of CPU and GPU options. It also has a fingerprint reader and an IR camera for Windows Hello. The reparability seems to also be pretty good, with a hardware replacement manual and replacement parts available. However, some things can still be improved. The surface finish, although very nice when clean, quickly becomes smudged with hand contact and it is very noticeable when that happens. Also, when doing heavy tasks it runs quite hot, specially the CPU. Finally, I had a couple of issues during ordering with significant delays and a refund that I've been waiting two weeks for.
