Ordered this laptop fully spec'd out with 64GB of RAM. Waited over a month for it to arrive and guess what.... Only 32GB of RAM installed. New unit couldn't be sent for 2+ months so I just returned it. Thanks for nothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good computer. Only issue is that when I wake it up from sleep the fingerprint reader does not work
It delivers the same Thinkpad experience my mother's Windows ME machine had in form, but the hardware was all designed to be throttled by temps, unequally able to cool & prevented any access to fan controls in the BIOS.
It showed me ways that Chrome could stagger & dysfunction by temp throttling in ways that were new to me in my years of Windows. Hard to argue with the price for a i9 11th gen & 3080; they know it would've justified the cost of parts by cooling solutions alone or it wouldn't have been the low cost I paid.
Would not have counted on it for 2+ years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After using this for two weeks, it completely locked up on me. I couldn't restart it. I had to wait until the battery ran out for it to reboot. And again a couple days later the scrren keeps going out on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
