Amazing bag

I'm a copier printer Tech and I've had this bag now for over 10 years use it every single day carrying my tools and laptop. I put it through what some people might say h*** this will be my 2nd, the 1st one is still good but the handle broke. I only wish I could order just handle. Worth every penny.

Does NOT have a shoulder strap. Search Results are wrong.

From the Product Search menu, if you select Roller in STYLE, then scroll down and select Shoulder Strap in FEATURES, this roller bag TCG717 is displayed. HOWEVER, this bag does NOT come with the Shoulder Strap, nor are there any hooks stitched on the bag to add a shoulder strap if you needed to do so. A bag this size may need to be carried across a snow covered parking lot and be too heavy to use only handles. The shoulder strap is an imperative feature of this bag. The older versions used to have one, but this newer version does not. I would pay extra $$ for this feature if it was available.

If you're seeking a 'one bag does it all,' this Targus product is it! Lamp top, iPad, any/all electronics tuck neatly in a 'compartment.' Clothes and toiletries snuggle in a larger space. Zip closed, wheel away. In the overhead bin, or under the seat in front of you. No fuss with checked luggage, or waiting at a carousel. Exit the plane (or train), and you're on your way--with your 'necessities' with you--in fact, safely at all times. Targus--a winner for sure!

It works for me on the railroad, 10+ years

I've used Targus for years in the harsh railroad environment as a locomotive engineer. My only concerns are the build quality compared to what it used to be is now cheaper than that of say 2009. Targus has also eliminated the shoulder strap for this bag. Also the inner pockets and sleeves as well as the electronic mesh case are smaller and not as durable as before. The plastic roller wheels hold up very well but as all wheels do, they split after 16-18 months of use.
Overall the Targus bag remains my favorite. I just wish they functioned as well as they did back in the mid 2000's.
