Water bottle mesh too small

The feature list mentions "water bottle pocket". But be warned. It is very very small. It couldn't even fit a 16.9 oz grocery store bottle of water. The elastic is very small and tight. I also confirmed it with the company and this is by design and as intended. So if you want to carry a bottle of water somewhere, please buy a different bag.

Recently purchased this backpack to replace an older pack from another brand. I’m using it for a 17” laptop, a portable monitor, and many cables, accessories and power cord.
The laptop barely fits, but I have no problem fitting everything in and it feels secure. It appears to be a very good quality pack.
