NOT a fully integrated dishwasher.

We got this panel-ready washer to fit into a minimalist kitchen with slab-front cabinet doors. However, this dishwasher is deeper than standard cabinet depth and is not flush with cabinets. It is 24.5 inches deep without a panel. There is fuzzy insulation material around it which causes it to stick out even further. With a panel on it, it sticks out from our standard-depth cabinets (24-inches without doors, 25 inches with doors) by about 3 inches, which looks anything but integrated. If we remove the insulation and push it all the way back, we can get it so that it only sticks out about a quarter to half an inch, which still looks bad and also removes a lot of the sound-proofing. To make things worse, the bottom of the dishwasher is a completely unfinished black panel with a big black hose sticking out past the front of the dishwasher. You can't put a toe kick over the panel because the dishwasher won't open properly and the black hose (the steam vent) is in the way. We can't return this now and are stuck with an expensive eyesore. It might wash well, but who cares....it's not what we paid for. We could have gotten something much cheaper and not panel-ready and it would have worked just as well and probably looked better than this poorly concealed dishwasher.

Love, love, love my dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was worth the three month wait. My previous Kitchenaid lasted 18 years and I was determined to buy another Kitchenaid. This one is an upgrade of my previous model and I am extremely satisfied with its performance. The dishes sparkle, no accumulation of water in cups and glasses, large capacity, silent wash and the upper rack is perfect for small glasses or large and spatulas,etc. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this model. Hope it lasts another 18 years.

Very quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So quiet you can hardly hear it running. It has quite a lot of space for dishes as well as odd shaped items. I don’t like the silverware rack. It takes up too much room, lots of wasted space, and and my silverware gets stuck in the slots. I wish I saved the rack from my old dishwasher. The other con is the beep at the end of the cycle is very feeble, so you are not aware when it’s done without opening the door. The owners manual is useless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a difficult install. Not sure about the construction with a fiber "blanket around the unit. First I have seen that and it impacted the dimensions for a built-in. Does seem to clean well and is somewhat quiet. Would not say it is the quietest DW on the market.

Good not great

Cleans very well but it feels cheap (the plastic, the way the racks maneuver, etc). Also do NOT like that the door will not lay flat without the bottom rack being pulled out.
