A forever bag

I've had my Peak Design Travel Backpack for a few years and it still looks as good as new. When I'm done traveling I'm giving this to my son and he can continue its journey. This thing is built to last and still look great.

Great Pack, terrible harness.

This system has the best camera cubes I have tried, but the pack has the worst harness ever. The straps have almost no padding on either the shoulders or the waist belt, and carrying a pro sized kit for any length of time is torture. The straps dig into your shoulders and hurt. The connectors on both the shoulder and waist section is a fiddly frustrating mess, very hard to fasten. I get that the harness is minimal to make it stowable, but it also means that the pack fails at it's most basic task...carrying a load in comfort.

The best backpack I ever owned!

I work with film production and this bag is truly a game changer. The system with camera cubes is so versatile and I find myself leaving my equipment in the bag between shoots because it is so orderly in there. No matter how heavy I pack it out it's always a pleasure to wear. Get it!

Best shooter’s bag ever, except…

Just bought the 45L bag. The design is fabulous. Love all the features AND used them. So so so clever. The amount of kit I can take on a shoot is simply amazing. This is a FIVE STAR BAG. Except for one important thing. Heavy bags need excellent padding on the shoulder straps. These straps are thin. To keep using this bag that I FREAKIN LOVE, I’m going to have to fashion a couple of Velcro fastened foam pads to stop my clavicles taking the hit for DAYS after carrying the bag. I get it! I understand why the straps have to be thin. If they were thick for comfort they wouldn’t fit inside the really useful strap concealer panels; a feature I love. Peak Design design guys…. please design some after market pads to attach to the straps at shoulder level, that can be removed and slipped into a pocket when stowing the straps. I’ll make a version to work for me now, but you’d do a better job 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

L’ho comprato poco più di 15 giorni fa e già è diventato il mio zaino preferito, dopo anni ad usare zaini della NORTH face questo è proprio stato lo zaino che ha cambiato la mia vita al lavoro. Un prodotto solito costruito con materiali ottimi e gli spazi sono pensati in modo geniale. Complimenti.

Perfect backpack for a digital nomad

This backpack is the backpack that I’ve always been looking for.
It fits my 16” MBP perfectly like a glove, and still has a slot for my iPad Pro. There’s a thick enough padding to protect your tech. I love the quality of the material and looks line it’ll hold up nicely in time. I just bought the packing cubes pack recently and it’s awesome with this. Good for 4-7 day trip no problem.

A very practical pack for big and small trips

I bought the 30L travel backpack in February of 2024, along with some small and medium packing cubes from Peak Design. I've been on two trips using this bag and the cubes, one for a 3 day business trip and another for a three week trip through Chili, Uruguay and Argentina. This has turned out to be a nearly perfect pack for me. On both trips I filled it with one medium cube containing pants, a small cube with shirts, and another cube with underwear. My 15" laptop also fit in nicely along with various toiletries and smaller items. I found it to be very comfortable on my back and easy to adjust. It has a nice, clean, unpretentious look to it. I also have a Pakt2 and an Aer Travel Pack 3. Although both are a little larger than the Peak Design, I found that the Peak Design turned out to be the most practical to pack and access among the three packs. I am very satisfied with this pack and the cubes. They make for a great packing system.

BEST TRAVEL BAG EVER

I took this bag on a 10-day trip to Italy, and it exceeded all my expectations. With an average of 25-30k steps each day, the bag remained incredibly comfortable throughout. One day, I carried two bottles of wine and a quilt around Capri with ease; on another, I transported five bottles of wine from Ischia to Sorrento without a hitch. The clam shell design was a game-changer—when I nearly got pickpocketed in Rome, the thief couldn’t get into the bag, thanks to how I secured the zippers. Initially, I was concerned the bag might be too big, but when it came time to pack souvenirs and wine, the extra space was a lifesaver.
I even used it as my carry-on in the airport, and it held everything I needed with room to spare.
This bag was, without a doubt, the best travel companion I could have asked for.
