Great backpack!

Bag is a little expensive but very high quality. There's a ton of built in organization. My wife and I just took it on a 3 week trip. We used it as our tech bag. Was able to fit two 14 inch laptops in the computer compartment. We also put in other stuff we didn't want to check, like baby monitor and camera. Tons of space. Fits perfect under the seat of a plane. Really like that you can hide the straps. Handles to grab from any direction. I look forward to using this bag for many years.

Bought this so we could avoid checking luggage for a trip to Europe. Worked exactly as I hoped it would. Easy to carry through airports and train stations. Perfect size for a personal carry on.

Great Fit & Function

For work, I carry a lot of items, typically daily. For travel, I prefer to travel light. I rely on having a decent and comfortable backpack. The 30L exceeds my expectations on the daily use side. It carries my items very comfortably. It has great weight distribution. The change from a traditional multi-compartment pack to the 30L rear-entry approach took me about 3 days to learn how to organize my stuff. I really appreciate the difference. The smaller top compartment is functional for the items I need quick access to. I use the various handles more than I imagined I would. I really don't see myself going back to a more traditional style backpack.
First use for travel comes next month.

Excellent travel backpack

Bought last month specifically for a trip to Europe. Focus was for something to carry on and hold all my gear as well as 3 days of clothes. It handled that in spades. Very comfortable when trekking through airports or trekking through cities. The one improvement I would like to see is to be able to access the laptop/tablet compartment separately without having to unzip the main compartment

I lived out of the larger bag for 18 months traveling the world! The quality is unmatched and the smaller version is perfect for shorter trips.

A Travel Backpack With Versatility
on March 3, 2023

I own 2 of these and I find them to be very versatile because of unobstructed room inside the bag. I use packing cubes and pouches to organize the inside of the bag. The expand-ability also helps when you need to pack a little bit extra or just need the room because you added some items on your trip. The zippers are easy to open and close. I especially like that it is narrow because it fits nicely under the seat in an airplane while giving you room to put your feet beside it. The quick access pocket is also easy to get to in this placement. I also used the stowing feature of the straps in the plane as well. The quick access pocket was for items I reached for frequently. I will say, the water bottle holders are a bit too small for most water bottles but I used them for smaller items (like tissue paper). The additional straps came in handy to carry a sweater or jacket in my travels as well.
I was lucky enough to score the Huckberry version with Xpac material for added water resistance. I can't wait for my next trip to try this new version out!!!
Overall, I highly recommend this bag. Keep in mind that you have to provide your own organization.

Perfect Size for Traveling

I was searching for a backpack large enough to pack for a few days but not so large that it was uncomfortable on my back or too tight under an standard airplane seat. The bag expands a bit for added space and I’ve enjoyed using it so far.

Great travel / day bag

Used it for a weekend trip and with the extensible storage it worked well. It gets a little cramped if you have shoes, but easy to pack clothes, the tech pouch, toiletry bag, and laptop in there. It'll fit under the seat in an airplane, but basically fill the entire space under the seat.
Used it as a day bag as well with the extensible storage collapsed if I plan to do grocery shopping on the way back. Stash a tote bag in there as well for extras and you're good to go.As a day pack, it's not as convenient as the everyday bag from PD (less magnets and smart storage/organization), but still really good - it makes up for it in being much lighter, which is what you want when you fill all this space to the brim.
