Great strap

I love the material and the width is just perfect. I really feel that my camera is save while using this strap and won't fall. I am using a Nikon d7500 with a Tikona 11-16 and it works great. Will keep testing it.

Quality!!!

I love the Leash as a strong but lightweight strap for my FujiXT3!! It is extremely well made and has a nice leather accent or two. I'll offer a comment that is not touched on very often in various strap reviews and that is as I shoot and raise my camera to my eye or work with it on a tripod, it gracefully folds out of the way. The material is not so substantial or so stiff that it gets in the way of the viewfinder or camera controls. This is true of both the Leash and the Slide Lite on a mirrorless camera, yet it is more than strong enough to support any lens that I might use on the XT3, including the 100-400. The Slide is heavier and it does tend to get in my way, so I think it is more suitable for a larger camera. This is something to consider as you select a strap. I love the thought and quality of the Peak Design gear.
Thanks!

I bought the Leash for my Yashica-D and was ready to go in seconds! The whole system is extremely convenient, the fabric material very smooth and easy on your neck. Perfect for this waist-level viewfinder magic! Great design overall.

My camera came with a strap. but it was a tedious process to put on and remove, and it was very wide and not very long. I almost felt like I had a guitar strap around my neck. This strap is soft, functional and very easy to attach and remove. It even comes with a allen tool for installation. The little anchor link/ connectors are rated for 200lbs. I seriously want to test that out! haha. Worth the money for sure.

Best Strap Ever
on June 15, 2020

Up to this point, I've always used the camera strap that came with the camera, usually showing the brand name, identifying me with that company. After watching the video on the leash, I decided to give the leash a try, with the idea that I would also be buying other products from Peak Design and its unique system. I am completely satisfied. I love the feel of the leash, smooth and soft, comfortable on my neck, with a quick and easy adjustment buckle. Perfect, and recommended.

Additional PD Strap

I have owned a Peak Design Summit camera strap for quite awhile, and used it on both a Canon 5D3 and Sony A6500, switching back and forth with anchors attached to both cameras. Inevitably, I'd grab my camera bag and end up with a camera without a strap when I needed one. I purchased the Leash strap as the dedicated strap for the Sony, leaving the Summit on the Canon: perfect solution! The Leash is a great, lightweight strap that doesn't add a lot of bulk across my body when hiking with a backpack. I can easily lift the camera to my eye and back to its carry position. The strap is easily removed when shooting on a tripod on a windy day. Peak Design pays attention to the details, and I appreciate that.

Solid as a bowl of oatmeal

I use this with my mirrorless camera and it is absolutely solid. The leash is great for a camera of this size. It says, "I care about my equipment" without saying "Oh my lawd look at me, I have a camera!"
In all seriousness, I bought this strap because I didn't want to see my investment bouncing off the ground to the soundtrack of my own screaming. After months of use, I have absolutely zero concerns using my camera with this strap. It allows me to live my life and access my camera when needed. That's incredible piece of mind at this price point.

Comfy and convenient!

I have now used my Leash a couple of times and am absolutely loving it! I use a light compact mirrorless, so the Leash being a more narrow and compact strap is ideal for me. I love the adaptability, and the ease of adjusting the fit. Being so customisable means that I can wear my camera exactly as I want it, and I now barely notice my camera when I am hiking, but it is easy to grab and use if I see something I want to shoot. The lifetime warranty is a great bonus, but judging by the high standard of materials and finish, I'll be happily using my Leash for a long time to come!
