The world most functional camera strap

Whether it’s a hike, shooting in urban environments, shooting a big DSLR or a tiny mirrorless, this strap can do anything. The quick detachable anchors make switching your carry on the fly super easy, the reversible grip/slip design on the strap keeps things stable when they need to be, and at 6’2” this strap is crazy easy to adjust for me.

I finally found the perfect strap

I bought the strap based on one of your demo videos. Finally, I can walk and not have my camera moving about and beating me up. I have been out for a few short hikes using the slide, and it works great. Thanks!!!!!

Perfect strap

Just bought one of them to use with my camera bag, drone bag and also actual camera ! It is super convenient and very easy to use with the smart clips. Looking at maybe getting a second one and more clips to that I can carry everything with it !

Great strap with a small but impactful design flaw

What a fantastic camera strap! Very well thought out design, with excellent implementation until the bottom of the camera anchor. It’s unrealistic that you require a hex key to the anchor from your camera! The screw is lacking a c-clip to retain it to the anchor and the rubber pad has no adhesive to hold it in place. Such a shame that the last and most important part of the system lacks the same brilliant design as the rest of the system. I will be using a black rapid anchor in its place.

Definite upgrade from the OE strap.

I purchased the Slide strap for use during Track meets (7+ hours). It is so much more comfortable than the original strap and the quick connections work perfect for rainy days. So pleased with this setup.

Perfect strap

I’ve been using the slide fur a while and I must say, it’s perfect! The fit is easily adjusted and it’s much more comfortable than the cheap one in the camera box. I use it with a clutch hand strap and they work seamlessly together.

A Slide for My Z8

I actually own several different camera straps that I've purchased over the years, but the moment I put in my preorder for the new Nikon Z8 I also ordered a Slide for it. I also have one for my Z9. Recently, I was invited to shoot candid photos for a national specialty show for a certain dog breed. I shot over 40,000 frames in six days using both my Z9 and Z7ii (outfitted with a Slide Lite). I thought it was remarkable how comfortable I was using the two Slides (a Slide and Slide Lite) at the same time. This was accomplished Bandelero Style with both straps over my head and the Z9 hanging on my right hip and the Z7ii on my left hip. Is this overkill? Yeah, probably. But the Z9 was outfitted with a Nikon Z 70-200mm f2.8 and the Z7ii with either the Z 24-120mm f4 or the Z 105mm F2.8 Macro lens so I could shoot wide angle, portraits, and zoom in for movement or closeups. The technology of the Slide meant the camera stayed at my hip when necessary, or quickly released bring the camera up to my eye to shoot using the viewfinder of the moment. How does the Slide stay securely in place, yet release so easily? I don't know, but Peak Design engineered it to do just that. The point is, that most people only need one Slide for one camera, and I can't fathom a more ergonomic camera strap system to recommend to someone who's looking for a strap system that works superbly. I also did my first hike with the Z8 last weekend and the Slide works great when you're only armed with one camera as well.

Manages to do many things well

I suffered with a sun-par strap for far too long. This is an essential camera accessory. Absolutely worth every penny. Works great in multiply carry positions, remains comfortable, and attachment system is ingenius and super useful.
