Loving the Slide!!

Coming from Black Rapid, and really liking this Slide. Easier to adjust. Only issue I had with my order is it didn't come with a Peak Design sticker. :) I was saving a spot on my YETI bottle for it!

I bought a Slide camera strap around five years ago and in almost every respect it was perfect, just what I wanted and expected. It had one minor problem in that the strap slipped a little through the adjustment cams. I didn't bother reporting the problem to Peak Design for more than 4 years thinking that 'there was no point' in doing so as seems the case with so many companies these days. I mentioned the problem to a photographer friend recently who suggested that should still I tell Peak Design. I reported the problem and was very pleasantly suprised that PD offered to replace the strap free of charge, even after the time that had elapsed. The replacement strap arrived a few weeks ago and is great, none of the slippage problems that I experienced before. It it seems to me that the problem was restricted to one 'special' edition of the strap that is no longer produced. I have spoken to several other photographers who use PD straps, none use the version I originally purchased, and they never experienced the same problems. I have to say that the response from PD to my problem has been excellent and so very positive, it gives me great reassurance for when I buy from them again.

Got a Slide many years ago and put it on my Nikkon. Just love how my camera stay on my lower back and doesn't move, even when I walk. Very easy to grab your camera and very easy to switch from frontal wear to side wear. I never worry that my strap will let me down,
Got a little problem with my strap in December. Wrote a email explaining the situation. Within 1 week I had a brand new Slide (not just the strap as I was expecting). Peak Design is a well managed company and I would recommend their products and their way of doing business with no reservation.

Great All-Purpose Strap

Bought this product used, every then, it is a very nice upgrade from my last camera strap.
It’s a very comfortable and durable strap, I use it to carry around large telephoto lenses, as well as it being my everyday strap for any kind of photography from wildlife to events.
The anchors also make it very easy to switch between the lens, the camera, and using no strap at all.
Not to mention it looks good!

Just Right

The PD Slide is just right, just right for the features with no time wasted on unneeded features. The quick adjust straps work better than any others I've tried and that anchor system is strong and easy to use. Love really good simple designs and this is built for a lifetime of use.

I bought the Slide when I got my new camera last month since I was looking for a strap that was durable and comfortable since I take pictures outside in the elements. This strap quality is S tier. just perfect, fantastic and sleek feel to the materials and super easy to connect and disconnect to the anchor connectors. The adjuster is very easy to utilize and the comfort especially with heavy cameras is unmatched!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this slide to finally replace my "stock" camera strap, and it has been a game-changer! Much more comfortable and easy to change positions/carrying configurations. My only regret is not picking one up sooner!
