Amazingly durable and well made!

Feel way more secure having my heavy, long lenses on this guy. So much more comfortable and love the lens-down carrying capabilities. All the components are metal and you can tell they're really well made.

Great strap

I tried two other straps before (the one thst came with my camera and one from a different brand that also offers a sliding mechanism): the Slide from Peak Design works best for me, as I can quickly attach it to different mount points (so the camera is nit dangling around while walking) and I can also use the tripod plate and can still attach the little PD adaptors for my slide at the same time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A little short

This is a good strap but being 6’4”, I find it a little too short. I wish it had another 2-3” of length.

I bought this a month ago and am absolutely loving it. It’s so simple to use. It’s so convenient and makes it super easy to walk with it in sling position!

So comfortable in my shoulder and the latches make it super easy to adjust while moving. The clips make it so I can take the strap off if needed without any fumbling. It’s the perfect camera strap.

One minor thing otherwise perfect

Gave five stars. Only thing I didn’t like was the rubber on the strap but I just flipped it and use it that way. Maybe it’s designed so you have the option but using the rubber side it’s impossible for me to get the camera up to my face and back down to my side without my cshirt getting all messed up and caught on it. Love the clips, love the look, love the quality, love the options of how the camera can hang and since it still does work the way I want it’s a 5 star must buy. Just don’t know whose using that rubber side ever.

A gift for my wife for Christmas, she was thrilled to get this. This well made strap is easy to adjust and has multiple mounting options. Plus it matches her camera backpack (also peak designs) in the classy ash color. Well done peak Design!

I have purchased a Slide strap and use it to carry my 200-500 Nikon lens around with no hesitation. Connects easily and is more that strong enough to handle the 6 lb lens. Have a new Slide Lite coming for my D7200 and small lens.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
