Recently bought Slide strap and it is so much better that my Canon strap. Comfortable to use, adjustment is easy with the slide catches.
The tripod plate fixing allows my camera to sit well.
More than enough anchors provided.

Worth the upgrade

I've been using the Slide for a month to support a 1.5 kg camera and I'm glad I upgraded from the flimsy neck strap that came with my camera. The slide works amazing as a shoulder strap, allowing me to carry my camera on 3-4 hour hikes without issue. The locking mechanism is secure and requires force to unlock so I'm not worried about it falling out when I'm trekking. The rounded edges and soft material mean it can be switched to a neck strap without chafing your neck.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had the V1 of the stop... I lost it! the new one feels shorter and narrower ... just I little bit... but for heavy gear (long lens are heavy), it feels less confort than the previous model... not understand the not treaded screw with the anchor mount ??? not usable...

Love the leash... slides not so much

First, I do love the peak design system. I have way too much of their stuff. And I do like the slide's adjustment system (and obviously the connectors). But there are two reasons I don't love the slides. First, there is too much material too close to the camera and my hands. The fabric, which is already wide, is looped and therefore doubled up at each connector, and sometimes bunches up too close to my face or interferes with my hands when I'm using the camera. A minor annoyance but I don't want to be annoyed by a camera strap... Second, if you fold the slide, for example to fit it into the small carry bag, you can make a permanent dent in the interior foam, which can be uncomfortable on your neck depending on where that bend happens to be. Again a minor annoyance, but then again there are expensive straps...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
