Good value, solid performer

I was worried about how thin the teathers are, but they seem pretty solid. For a six foot guy I would prefer the Slide were about six inches longer. The strap construction is otherwise great. The buckles to adjust length are tops. I like the leather at the end of the strap.

Best Camera Strap Ever!

I love my new Slide camera strap from Peak Design. As a tall man, the length allows me to comfortably adjust the position of my camera, always keeping close to hand. The reversible strap…rubber on one side, clean on the other…let’s me keep it in place when I use the rubber side or make it easily available when I use the other.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Comfortable for all day photography

I bought this Slide for a trip I was planning where I was going to be using my camera a lot. I’m very happy I purchased this. The quality of the slide was great and comfortable for the whole day. I hardly noticed it when it was on. The only small criticism I have is that the strap was a little on the wider side and when looking up with the Slide around your neck, the back of your head kind of bumps it. Nothing that would stop me from recommending this to others. If this is something that might bother you though, I would recommend the Slide light as it isn’t as wide, but it does lack the padding that the Slide has. The clips that make removing the slide and replacing with something like the leash or other products is also such a simple, yet fantastic feature. You can tell these products are made in a thoughtful and purposeful way.

Fantastic strap that is secure

I do not like most camera straps. I find they get tangled, are cumbersome and do not stay on my shoulder. The strap is fantastic! It is wide and comfortable without being overly thick. The friction material keeps the strap on my shoulder, even while wearing a winter parka. I was initially suspect of the fasteners, but have found them easy to use and strong. The ability to change the way the camera is oriented while carrying has been a game changer, particular with larger or heavier lenses.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just what the doctor ordered!

I'm glad I chose Peak Design's Slide strap. It's simple, straight forward, and easy to use. I love the feel of the webbing on the strap (soft and smooth to the touch, yet strong). Sliding to move the camera is easy, and I have had no problem with slippage. The strap doesn't get in the way when shooting either.
It's attached to the left side camera eyelet and to the right side of my L-plate at the bottom of the camera, allowing the camera lens to face downward when used as a sling--strap over my left shoulder and resting against my right hip. The two attachment points mean that the camera doesn't twist when I'm walking.
I'm very pleased.
There are many helpful videos online describing the strap.

10/10 Amazing Product

The slide is the best overall camera strap. I own 1 and the ability to switch it from one camera to another is super easy and fast. The strap is high quality with rubber grips on top so it will never fall off of your shoulder. 10/10 would recommend this product

Great strap with one small drawback

I've had two of these straps and love them both. But... the metal triangular at the ends can rub on my camera and scratch it. I'd suggest either making it from very strong plastic or coating it with sturdy rubber.
