Great product, and even greater service! I by accident placed a double order, and tried to cancel, but too late, as they are very efficient in getting the orders out. However, no
problem, return policy and quick refunds was excellent. Many on-line vendors can take an example of how this company operates. And any emails are answered promptly, which is refreshing as well.

I didn't like how long it took to unhook a Black Rapid, so I gave this a try. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the quick anchor system! Makes it easy to go from shooting photography to doing video with a gimbal!

A Great Upgrade Over Your Default Camera Strap.

You know it as well as I do that camera companies include a neck strap that gets the job done of carrying your camera, but most of the time what they throw in the box feels like an afterthought. It's not always comfortable after a few hours, is hard to adjust, difficult to remove, and doesn't transition well between different shooting positions.
The Peak Design Slide fixes all of that and more.
- The Good: The Anchor Link system is my favorite way, and among the most secure I've found, to attach a strap to a camera. As this feature is universal across the Peak Design line of products, you can mount the anchors to your camera and easily move between a Slide, Leash, Cuff, or Clutch, depending on the needs of your specific shoot. Being able to quickly remove the strap lets you move from on or off a tripod easily, without the strap hanging in the wind. The buckles allow you to quickly lock and unlock the strap and extend or shorten the strap as needed, while the buckles slide smoothly across the seatbelt-style nylon webbing. This webbing is also smooth against the skin and dries quickly if it gets wet from rain or sweat over a long day. Hang it up overnight and it will be dry and ready another another outing in the field by morning.
- The Bad: The locking buckles would benefit from more chamfering and rounding of edges, as these sometimes get caught on clothing or other gear and become unlocked.
- The Weird: I would prefer a strap without the silicone grippers as, even turning the strap so these are facing outward, these sometimes grab onto clothing. The padding at the neck is also unnecessary for the cameras I usually use (Fuji X-T4 and Sony ZV1), and sometimes hinders transitions between shots. If you are in a similar situation as I am, the Slide Light may be a better option for you.
Overall, the Slide is a great upgrade if you carry a heavy DSLR or a mirrorless with a long lens. You will not be disappointed by making this purchase and upgrading your carry system.
