Peak Design Slide is a lifesaver!

I shoot a lot of volleyball, so spend a lot of time walking around tournaments. Since I have found the Slide, my neck and back are not painful at the end of the weekend anymore! Once, I had to get a massage after shooting a three day tournament with my old Nikon strap around my neck. The slide works great as a sling strap which keeps the weight off my neck. It holds my rig (usually with a 70-200 f2.8 attached) way more securely than the Black Rapid strap I tried (and returned). Having the whole strap slide around makes so much more sense than trying to make the camera slide along the strap. The mounts are brilliant and I can switch between bodies in about 5 seconds! I sometimes see other photographers with their camera and 70-200 hanging from their neck with their OEM manufacturer strap and I think to myself "you poor sucker".

Sturdy, comfortable and well made

This is my third round of camera straps, and it is much better than the previous ones. I use a full frame mirrorless with extra grip and frequently shoot with a 200-600 zoom. It gets heavier as the day goes along! While I frequently shoot with a tripod, while moving about, having the strap is invaluable. I often jump into the car to change locations for birds at a local wildlife reserve and I cannot get the tripod with camera attached comfortably in my vehicle. I use a quick release on the tripod, comfortable with the strap that nothing will hit the ground! The connectors on the strap allow me to easily change from attachment points on the zoom to the camera when shooting with smaller lens. I pruchased eztra connectors just in case, but have not seen any wear so far. Good strap!

Got my slide as a Christmas gift and I absolutely love it. So easy to attach and detach the strap from the camera and is comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Loved the strap so much that I bought another for my partner.

Great quality strap

Bought this a while back, use it daily, really like the hook on/hook off mechanism, works very well. The strap is very good quality, should last a lifetime, I'd say.

Great strap with no elasticity

The Slide goes on and off a camera extremely quickly, is easy to adjust, and even comes with a carrying bag if you want to put it away neatly when you're not using it. The rubberized side is very grippy and the quality of materials throughout is excellent.
One thing to be aware of is it has no elasticity or give, and the padding is quite light. I've been folding the strap along the same crease for nearly a year and the padding has flattened there completely. And because the strap has no bounce to it, if you're carrying a particularly heavy camera, it may cause you neck issues if you're wearing it for a prolonged period of time. I have very sensitive and temperamental neck muscles (even doctors have told me that), so take this advice with a grain of salt: wider straps with a little bounce can sometimes help relieve pressure with heavy cameras instead of tugging down on one side all the time.
Overall I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't have neck issues. I have no doubt my Slide will probably outlive me.

Best camera strap

I bought this as an upgrade to my Nikon camera strap that came with the camera. Major upgrade. I use a 200-500mm lens which is very heavy. I suspect this strap can handle any weight setup you throw at it. Very comfortable with padding and smooth/textured side based on what you need, super easy to adjust, and much more stylish than most other straps.

Elite comfort and versatility

Bought a couple months ago and I regret not buying sooner. My camera has never felt so secure and the amount of comfort and versatility it provides is amazing. It is not only comfortable but it is very well made and it has a very sleek and unique look. 10/10 recommend.
