Slide & Clutch: The Perfect Tandem

Stock straps that came with camera bodies have always been thin, uncomfortable, and a pain to adjust.
This year, I decided I'd had enough and purchased the Peak Designs Sling & Clutch straps, which I use in tandem. The Sling's wide strap & quick adjustments make it easy to carry the camera slung over my neck and one shoulder, while the Clutch makes me feel like I have a more secure grip on my camera when leaning out a car window shooting bike races.
Super stoked on Peak Design's products.

SUPER SLIDE

I have never imagined the Slide to be this good~ I have tons of camera straps from Nikon original straps to matin and BlackRapid double breath. None of them gave me the long hour comfortability that PD Slide provide. It's easy to access to camera and comfortable to sit on my neck or shoulder all day long. I don't even have to worry it slipping off my shoulder like the rest of straps that I own. Hands down to PD! What an awesome and innovative design to add to the product.

Slide anchor hard to mount on Olympus E-M1_Mark_II

I didn't want to use the small triangular clips that come w/ the E-M1 so I set out to push the anchor's chord thru the hole of the camera ear. An almost impossible task (I was almost ready to cut the chord and then tie it) - but I managed after almost half an hour, micron by micron, to push it far enough to get a pair of pliers to pull out the rest. E-M1 owners should be advised of this situation or simply get informed of not taking the original clip off. Otherwise seems to be a great strap!

AMAZING

This is the most amazing strap ever. Good quality, great usability all I expected and more. There is just one thing i might have wanted to see different, The latches are plastic, it those were aluminum, this strap probably would be the god tier of straps. All in all, very good, very happy, proud to become a PeakDesign product owner. Very recommended.

Much more useful than previous version

The silicone grip on this new version works. It sticks to my shirt at a sandpaper-like level, it's pretty insane. It also doesn't feel like it's going to melt/wear like the old version. I like to roll up my neck straps for storage and although in normal use it doesn't kink, it actually kinked when rolled tightly. It's not something that affects how it performs but it's a small bummer since it was a key selling point in the Kickstarter. With normal use though it would be kink free.

So worry before I placed the order but definitely worth the price tag. Very comfortable and feel no stress either neck carry or sling style configurations.

Slide is Just Awesome

I have a Nikon D5600 and D50. I got the Slide as I like the security of a wide strap. It just feels better for me. This strap is so smooth and easy to use, I wonder how I ever got along without it. The OEM straps are so uncomfortable and this strap just makes you want to take your camera with you everywhere. Thrilled I got it!
