Comfortable but not rugged for outdoor...

After 3 years of use carrying cameras and big lenses from Antarctica shore to remote tropical Islands what I can say is :
1. the fabric connection between the sling and the anchor point is tearing apart and will likely soon break, hopefully my camera won't fall with it...
2. The metal spring-like part of the anchoring system is rusted, since the black paint felt due to friction, stainless steel would have been a better choice of material for this part.

Just be aware it's a very comfortable and smart sling system but definitely not rugged enough if you are a professional wildlife/outdoor filmmaker, as intensive use will quickly damage it. I'll soon have to replace it but I'll likely choose a military-grade sling system this time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The strap it self was nice, but there are some defects on the strap. It was the stitching that had a part that popped up, it was tiny, but obvious when shined with lights.

My camera hanging behind me in the small of my back is so comfortable that I forget I am wearing it. When I want it, it is just there. Attaching one end to the tripod mount is genius.

Awesome strap

I just completed my first trip with the slide strap mounted to a D750 with a 24-120 zoom, a heavy combination. I have it installed to the tripod mount and normal sap mount. Unbelievable how light it seemed, the lens hung down making getting in and out of vehicles a breeze, and when a picture was available, quickly pull the camera up to shoot. My stock strap always caused neck and shoulder pain after lugging the camera around all day. This strap made the camera almost unnoticeable, love it!

Using the summit edition for a couple months here's the pro's : comfy, super safe, easy and fast to change from neck to sling and good looking :)
And here's the con's : too bulky, difficult and need extra space to keep it in bag, and my neck is soaked with sweat when using this strap

Awesome strap that is versatile. Extremely comfortable strap that is easy to use. I use this all the time, just feels good on. I use this with my Sony ARII and Sony A6000, easy to switch.

Best strap I've owned

I'm always on a lookout for new versatile straps that allows me to adjust depending on shooting conditions. I've tried other ergonomical straps like black rapid which kind of restricted me from adjusting and removing it from the strap easily. I got my PD strap as a gift and it solved all of my problems. Not only it is attractive, I can adjust the strap to be loose or tight to my body when I needed in one motion and I can remove it from the strap when I need to.
