If you’re looking for a strap for medium format cameras and just generally a strong one overall, this is it. The silicone grip side is a great addition if you like to wear your straps on your shoulder too.
I love it, except for one thing: The raised ribs on the underside of the strap actually inhibit raising the camera to take an image as it grabs the shirt. It really is unnecessary as the underside grips enough without it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So right off the bat I have had this strap for over 3 years now so this is more of a long term review. I got the slide to replace my Canon strap that came with my 60D. I wanted something that I could easily take on and off since I shoot run and gun and sometimes on a tripod. Having a strap flap in the wind was less than ideal especially when filming so ease of removal was a must. The slide was the one that I came across on multiple occasions while researching so I decided to get it. I love the versatility of being able to take the strap on and off with ease, as well as being able to chose to have the strap slide on my shoulder for that quick capture but also having the grip side for when I want to just carry it from place to place. The solid quick pull adjusters are fantastic for a quick way to pull the camera closer to your body for if you need a more secure carry or further out to help stabilize handheld filming. I have been so pleased with this strap its my go to for recommendations as well as that perfect gift for anyone that own a camera!
This is my 3rd slide over the last 7 years. All still in great condition. I just love the sage color and added for variety. These are great straps. Comfortable and secure.
I really like the strap. I have had one before and the last time I used it the sticky stuff came off on my shirt So I replaced the shirt and my camera strap with a new one
