Best camera straps ever!
on January 4, 2021

For Christmas, I got a Sony a7III camera. I needed a reliable and fully built camera strap. This peak design slide camera strap is easy to use. I have no problems wearing it for a long period of time. They are easy to detach from your camera. I can store easily store it in my backpack if I'm not using them. The buckles are made from durable material. I just love it. Thank you peak design for thinking of your customers. I have a camera strap that will last me a long time. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Outstanding

I'd been using a competitor's sling-style strap for several years but finally decided to bite on Peak Design's slide after using a couple of their other products. This is the perfect strap, as far as I'm concerned. I use it on both a Pentax K-70 and a Pentax 645D, which are at opposite ends of the size/bulk spectrum and the Slide makes carrying both of them super comfortable. I love that I can easily swap the slide between bodies and carrying styles.

Great Versatile Strap!
on January 5, 2021

Okay, you might ask, "How can I justify the cost of this strap?" - It's simple - the versatility of this strap is amazing, all due to the anchor link system. You are able to attach this strap to any instrument or camera gear so long as the anchor links have a place to attach itself to. The material is extremely durable and to have the ability to turn the strap around when being worn in any position, other than around the neck, is genius. I have a Canon 60D, a little bit of a monster camera that I absolutely love and one of my lenses has a lens collar tripod mounting ring - a 100-400mm lens; using the anchor, I attached my slide strap to the lens and the other, to my camera. I wear it in the sling position which eliminates the camera/lens from bobbing up/down if worn around the neck. I also found that the weight of the lens and the camera are better centered to my body. PD offers lifetime warranties with all of their products; even those that you may purchase through other sites. Fantastic company backing and really inventive ideas that take camera accessories to the next level. I am one happy customer!

Best Strap Ever

I recently purchased the Slide Strap to use with my 2 Canon R5's. Over the years, I have used lots of different types of straps, but none have worked in the majority of situations I needed a strap for. The Slide Strap is perfect. It can easily work with a wide variety of lenses and with the camera in different orientations. Every detail has been carefully thought out. I strongly recommend this camera strap.

Very comfortable and versatile

I use it as a shoulder strap, in some shots it's great to lengthen the strap. Central padding keeps strap comfortable even after a few hours, great detail.
After trying other products (of less price) various problems... always my purpose is to hang the camera ready to shoot on excursions and walks... now I am satisfied.

Quality Functional Gear
on January 8, 2021

I have always used the strap that came with my camera and I didn't realize what I was missing. The quality of the PD strap is tremendous and the ease of use allows you to adjust quickly to get the most comfortable fit/feel. I take a walk amount every day with my camera. The first day I attached the strap the traditional way on the camera body. Because I hike with a 100-400 lens I carry the camera and the strap has historically been the "net" so I don't cause damage if I was to drop my camera. I began using the smooth side of the strap so I could swing the camera into position to take a picture with ease. I also started playing with the length of the strap to get the right support and freedom of movement. I was loving the strap and then I watched the video and the use of the "unique Anchor Link System". I installed the Anchor that night for the following days hike. I put the strap over my head in a sling position and quickly adjusted the strap so it would hang at my side just above me hip - using the grip side of the strap the lens and camera stayed in place where I put it. For the first time I was hiking with a big lens and not having to hold it the whole time! Love the strap and the versatility it provides to carry my gear.

Awesome camera strap
on January 9, 2021

I love the quick release, comes in super handy since I use a different strap for hiking, which leads to my one qualm - one side of the strap has a rubbery grip, I guess you'd use it to keep the strap in one place on your body. I never put the grip side on my shoulder, yet it still gets in the way when I'm wearing a backpack because the rubber grips to the backpack and makes it harder to adjust the camera to take a photo. But whenever I go out with my camera and no backpack, this is the strap I use.
