Finally found something that will work!

I am short stature at just over 5' so finding a carrying system that will work with my height and a longer lens has been a struggle. Adding to the issue is that I hike with my gear so I can't have the lens hanging down and potentially hitting rocks or tree stumps. The slide works perfectly! The strap is super comfortable and the way it adjusts is seamless. I can easily adjust on the go while not missing a stride on the hike. Another great feature I love is the double sided/texture on the strap. The smooth side allows for easy movement of my gear and when I hit a section of the trail where I want a little more stability I just flip the strap over and it stays put. The slide does not pull on my neck as other systems have done- and my gear is around 6lbs. Would definitely recommend for anyone who has struggled finding the "right" system.

Life-time Warranty

True! My original slide , after 4 years, developed stickiness of the "non slip" strips on the underside of the strap. I contacted Peak Design with the information and within 2 weeks a replacement was in my mailbox. I love this product and the way it re-distributes the weight of my DSLR. But even better is their business model, their customer service and their life-time warranty. Highly recommend this product and this company.

The Slide makes shooting easier

The Slide strap is everything I wanted. It makes it easy to carry my camera over my shoulder without the weight on my neck. It is very easy to bring the camera up to shoot quickly. The strap is sturdy but comfortable, and super easy to adjust the strap length with their easy release clamp. The rubber grip on the backside makes it secure when you need it. This is the perfect strap.

Super comfy, attach and detach in seconds which makes it super handy when storing in a hard-case ect, top notch quality and the adjustable buckles make it's crazy easy to change up your carry style.

After years with my canon camera strap I was finally fed up it. After some research I found the Slide and figured it was worth trying out. Now that it's on the camera, I can tell immediately this is magnitudes better than OEM camera straps. I'm very impressed with the packaging, setup, and the extra components the strap comes with. The Slide itself is easy to adjust and the material is soft. No more getting tangled in my old strap when I through it over my head and arm to hike while needing my camera at the ready. This strap seems perfect for every adventure.

Nice strap

Recently bought and used on camera and big lens. A nice robust strap; the smooth side is comfortable and the grippy side slightly less but it does grip! The big clip to change the length is robust and appropriately stiff so that it is a bit hard to unclip but doesn't loosen accidently (so far, at least)
I found it a bit hard to get my fingers into the little buttons to depress them to change the strap - they are "short" and I struggled a bit to get around the camera. Likely something that I will get used to though one could wonder whether a slightly longer loop would not be better in this regard.... Hard to know without trying.

Overall this looks good. I like being able to swap between camera (with small lens) to lens (600 mm; very heavy and balanced to lens)
Its new so I'm hoping all this lasts. I'm expecting a lifetime of use out of this type of item so trust it will last that long.

I had an old Red slide and the black anti slip stuff started to melt and make a mess. You guys replaced it with a new better one Thank You.
