Great Strap, but a little bit thick

I'll start off by saying this strap is wonderful. If you've got a large DSLR setup, this is a five star strap. If you're running with anything even remotely light though, this strap can feel like a bit much.

Best strap option on the market

Recently upgraded my system to heavier body and lens, my stock Canon strap was giving me neck pains all the time. I also couldn't hold it since my wrists were getting sore. The Slide solved all those problems by having different strap positions for every situation. 100% RECOMMENDED

Works Great

Distributes camera/lens weight very well across the body. Walking around with a Full Frame Nikon Camera (D750) and heavy lenses is no longer a chore. Used a few straps since the late 70s and this is the best one yet.

SLIDE 2 VS SLIDE 3

Simply put they are slightly diffrent. Slide 2 wider and shorter in length. The diffrence is neglagable. If you want the best neck strap money can buy either of them will serve you not just well, but outstanding. I change from the clutch handstrap to slide neckstrap to tripod then to capture all in two clicks of the awsome anchored system. Secure and amazing time saving system. LOVE PEAK DESIGN. pooh. Black and Red. Matches my red top, black body Mini JCW mini. How cool üòÅ

SLIDE

I've recently purchased the SLIDE and am quite happy with the freedom of movement it allows particularly when going from horizontal to vertical framing without any interference. Given time, I assume I will overcome some anxiety about having my heavy and expensive Nikon D5 and 80-400mm lens hanging from the thin anchors.

Finally found something that will work!
on October 12, 2020

I am short stature at just over 5' so finding a carrying system that will work with my height and a longer lens has been a struggle. Adding to the issue is that I hike with my gear so I can't have the lens hanging down and potentially hitting rocks or tree stumps. The slide works perfectly! The strap is super comfortable and the way it adjusts is seamless. I can easily adjust on the go while not missing a stride on the hike. Another great feature I love is the double sided/texture on the strap. The smooth side allows for easy movement of my gear and when I hit a section of the trail where I want a little more stability I just flip the strap over and it stays put. The slide does not pull on my neck as other systems have done- and my gear is around 6lbs. Would definitely recommend for anyone who has struggled finding the "right" system.
