At last, comfort carrying a heavy 400mm Canon camea!

I'm an amateur wildlife photographer and old (73). Slide has been a lifesaver for me....I can affix it such from the camera to the lens, or just on the camera, depending upon what I need at the time I'm hiking and photographing. The strap is solid, it doesn't slide around. I love the quick up and down feature to either lengthen or shorten it, depending upon my needs at that moment. I can't live without them (I have 2 of them!) Thank you for your wonderful and thoughtful innovations. You young people rock ;-)

Great addition to my photography gear

This slide strap has been a game changer for enabling me to have flexibility when travelling light with my camera - I use the Capture Clip that I use when travelling with my backpack and the slide strap when travelling with my camera only. The ease of use and the comfort of the strap exceeds my expectations. Excellent quality which I have come to expect from Peak Design was there again with this product.

My New Peak Design “Slide” Strap

I'm a older guy who recently started learning DSLR Photography only using the “ M” manual mode.
I'm also a mechanical jury rigging fellow. First strap system I purchased offered a slide belt across my chest keeping camera at my right side with a connector to tripod opening. Worked well until I started using a tripod & had to unscrew connector bolt every time I used the tripod. Recognized the Peak Design strap would comfortably hold the strap around my neck & did not involve the tripod opening.
The anchor housing & disks were a big plus. Can easily switch to a wrist strap with Slide strap removed. It's a brilliant comfortable unique idea. Thanks,

Awesome strap!!

I bought the Slide strap in the Ash color. Arrived as described, beautifully packaged. I put the anchors on my Canon 60D and ordered additional anchors for my Canon 5DSR. Both my cameras have battery grips and the 5D has an L bracket as well. I wanted to see how this setup would fit and it was great. Very comfortable and well made strap. Very happy with this purchase

Slide V2 review

I am the owner of the Slide V1, specifically the summit edition one, featuring a unique reddish colour. The other available one was blue.
Unfortunately, the rubber padding on my V1 strap started to become disgusting sticky paste. It was gooey and even got onto clothes, making it hard to wash off. I contacted customer support. Since the strap was purchased several years ago at a now defunct camera store and I usually don't ask for receipts because I aim to reduce unnecessary usage of paper in my life to protect the environment, I thought I was out of luck.
The support team however was right on the game. They addressed the issue, told me that I'm not the only one, it has happened to other customers in a similar climate to mine, and that they will offer support. I filled in the claim online and a V2 strap was sent to me the following week. Although I like the colour of the V1 strap, I must say the V2 version is a big improvement. It feels very comfortable and works great with my DSLR and Mirrorless camera. The V1 is now retired, I'm using it as a day strap for my Tech Pouch, works a charm. I simply scraped off the disgusting rubber goop.
As an owner of the Messenger 15L, Sling 10L, 2 Cuffs, one clutch, the tech pouch, I must say that I love all these products and will continue to support the brand. The accessories might be a bit expensive, but they are well worth the money. This is the best support I've ever had from any company.

Well designed, a new staple

Gave this to my partner and he loves it -- he loves being able to carry his camera across his chest or around his neck and he loves the quick release straps. Comfortable, beautifully designed, well worth every penny.
