Best camera strap ever on the market!
on June 9, 2019

Saw the Slide on display at a camera store and was hoping this would be the last strap I would ever need. After one use I liked it. Went on the Peak Design website to educate myself more and after watching the product video saw more ways to enjoy the Slide. Purchased a another Slide in the Ash color with additional anchors and Dual Plates for both of my cameras. I'll be purchasing one for my girlfriend— I was bragging about my strap and now she has “strap envy”.

Slide

I tried 3 different straps before purchasing the Slide for my Nikon D750. It makes the heavy DSLR easy to carry. I had no problem taking a 5h photo walk amidst inclement weather in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Slide really slides and makes it easy to grab the camera and take a shot. The anchors work without a glitch and you can use the Slide with an L bracket on the camera as long as the bracket has an ear for the anchor. The adjustment clips work precisely and make any corrections easy and on the fly. I have yet to find a con to the Slide and hope to use this product for a long time. Strongly recommend considering the Slide if you have a heavier gear and don't always use a backpack for shoots

Best strap ever
on June 13, 2019

I've had cheaper camera shoulder straps and none of them have been as nice as the Peak Design Slide model. The fittings and attachments are strong. The quality of each piece is superb and everything fits nicely together. It's comfortable even with my heavy camera and lens. Even the packaging shows high-quality and engineering thoughtfulness. You can pay less - but you'll get less. Go with this one.

A STRAP THAT WORKS LIKE A CHARM
on June 17, 2019

I cannot be more satisfied with the Peak Design strap, I've been using it with my video camera Sony FS7mkII and it makes my life so much easier on assignments or when I travel in airports. It feels robust and comfortable at the same time without being too bulky. Initially I thought it would work much better on lighter bodies like DSLRs or mirrorless cameras, but this strap proved me wrong and definitely makes the job, whatever the gear you carry.

Great strap but a bit stiff
on June 18, 2019

Although it's a bit stiff, I love this strap. Being able to remove it quickly and easily is great. I remove it when the camera is on my tripod and it's windy out. Very handy. The adjustable strap length comes in handy when shooting video; I tighten up the strap and push the camera away from my body until the strap is tight. That works great to stabilize the camera. My only wish is that it was a bit more flexible; maybe that will come with time. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars if possible.

Good strap
on June 19, 2019

I really like that this strap allows me to carry my camera and lens sort of behind my butt; it's quite sturdy while walking or hiking. I also like that the camera and lens is pointed down. The only thing that bothers me is that it seems like the silicone "no slip" strips (the things that prevent it from sliding off your shoulder) are on the wrong side of the strap.

Do it right the first time!

Being a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, you notice the lines, stitching and straps that keep you secured to your parachute. When I first looked at the stitching and materials used on my PD Slide, I knew I could depend on what it was designed and made for.
A very good product for its cost, and designed for my Nikon and Canon cameras.

Great Strap
on June 23, 2019

I'm not a big fan of camera straps. They are bulky and get in the way too often. That said, when I upgraded to a 24-70 lens, I needed one to help support the weight. I chose Peak Design for two main reasons: I already own several PD products, so I knew what kind of quality I was in for and I liked how versatile the strap is, it's easy to take on and off when you don't need the extra support. The material is high quality, the hardware is solid. I love that my camera doesn't bounce around anymore when it's on the strap. You won't be disappointed if you buy this strap.
