Brilliant system, and every bit of it is perfect

Was bought this as a present because I have a Canon with some reasonably large lenses and always complained about comfort out hiking. There are a few obvious things - the clip in/out system is brilliant and changes when/how you use the strap, the strap is brilliant with fast adjustment, as well as good webbing and a great non-slip side. The quality is also fantastic throughout.
This all makes sense and would be a great product alone, but the thing I've really liked is the fact that you can anchor it to both the top strap mounts but also rapidly switch it to anchor to the tripod mount. It's totally changed the comfort of having this camera when hiking - much more comfortable and balanced, especially when using a big lens.

Best. Strap. Ever.

I should have purchased one of these when I first laid eyes on it, but kept hanging in there with an older strap until a very, very long day lugging my full frame DSLR around. When I got back to the car I said, "That's it, I'm getting a decent strap!" Which of course meant a 'Slide' from Peak Design. Just spent another one of those long days and what a difference! Everything is just perfect and so well-designed and built! Brilliant work, guys -- there's a reason I keep buying your stuff -- I haven't found better.

Do Not Hesitate

After to many times of me complaining about my (then) current strap I started to look for a new one. Where I live there are no camera stores for me go check any items. So I look at a few reviews and I go with Peak design...The Slide is far superior to any other strap that I have used. It is comfortable, totally adjustable to many users and feels very well built. I should of brought it much sooner.

Saved my neck

Past 2 months have developed severe neck problems & pain. Nurodoc said neck.had three problems, fixing 1 would case problems with other 2. 25 yrs of 2 pro cameras with motors & big glass put severe strain on neck, working as PJ.

Saved neck, big time!

Getting treatment from Nurodoc pas two months. Twenty-five yrs as PJ carrying two pro cameras with motors & big glass put destroying weight on nrc. Doc says three problems, fix one causes problems for other two. Bite on bullet as long as one can then fuze vertabras. Yesterday went to national saber fencing deacided to get the peak strap. WOW, it was a real saviour

Sophisticated, good design

I was already a Peak Design Slide user from the beginning. From December 2018 I bought a new camera D Fujifilm X-T3 in silver. And also got the new improved Slide in the Ash color. The old slide was good but the new one is even safer, even more comfortable in carrying the camera with a heavy zoom lens. A product that I highly recommend.
I also had contact with the service department of Peak Design because I had some questions. I am provided with answers and help very quickly. 5 out of 5 stars

For the Tripod Oriented

I use a tripod regularly. In my opinion the strap gets in the way when the camera is on a tripod. The quick release system used by the slide strap is the easiest way to remove the strap. It has the least amount of hangover of any release system I have used to date. It is also the quickest reconnect I have used. I really lucked out with this strap.
