New camera needed new strap

I did quite a bit of searching before I stopped at the Slide strap. It's been on my new DSLR as from the time of unboxing for both items so I have not been using anything else. Besides the comfort of knowing that your camera is safe, and can easily be hooked and unhooked as and when needed, there's also the understated yet stylish look which perhaps other brands do not offer.

I have watched so many videos of many straps, read tens of reviews. Finally, I decided to buy Slide... I can say that I really did the right choice... thank you PD, all the crew for your products and your kindness...

Absolutely ideal!

I've tried various straps over the years. Some seemed too flimsy. Some didn't work well when you tried to sling the camera and then bring it up to a shooting position. The attachment points often fouled the operation of the tripod quick release plate. I finally took the plunge and bought a Slide. What a difference! It's very sturdy and obviously quite tough enough to support either a 50D or a 5D Mk 4. It's comfortable with the camera slung behind me in downward facing position and it's easy to bring the camera up into position to use it. And, most important, the quick connectors, coupled to a Peak Design Dual Plate, work brilliantly with a Manfrotto XPRO ballhead with the RC2 fitting.
The Slide strap is beautifully made, very thoughtfully designed and looks really smart. Well worth the money. A great piece of kit!

Gave this as a gift to my brother, along with a capture clip. He is just getting into photography and it was fun to the person to introduce him to Peak! He's used his current setup long enough to know quality and clever design when he sees it. He's been raving about the strap and the clip since Christmas. Those won't be his only Peak products.
