I've got a rat cage and a litter box in a huge living room, and my air220 keeps all that odor away from our sitting area. I am thrilled!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, I was surprised with the size of the Bissell air220 Air Purifier as it was larger than expected and also larger than some other air purifiers that I have used and seen. That, in and of itself, created a small challenge of finding a good location for it be effective yet not intrusive. We ended up placing it at the end of our upstairs hallway near the kids' bedrooms and playroom. My first takeaway from it was the calming hum that it emits as it's working. It is not overly loud or obtrusive; instead gentle and blends into normal sounds of a home. Added benefit is that it adds to the white noise machine's efforts to create a calming atmosphere for our 2-year old. As for its effectiveness, we are still waiting to see a notable impact (and expect to as the air dries out with winter approaching); however, the most noteworthy benefit has been the reduction of odor coming from the playroom where our pet hamster stays. No longer can you catch a whiff as you are in the hallway since we added the Bissell air220 Air Purifier. In general, I do feel as though the air is of better quality and not so dry when upstairs but waiting on a larger sample size to qualify that assessment. After this abbreviated use, I would recommend this device to friends and family who are looking to improve the air quality of their home. I look forward to seeing what the benefits are as winter approaches as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product. Mom's daily stubborn cough stopped immediately after installing this air purifier. She hadn't realized she stopped coughing until the people she would speak to on the phone noticed it and no longer had to cut their conversation short due to her cough. Mom was finally able to sleep uninterrupted by her own cough. She also started attending church again because her cough was gone. A few months later, we noticed the persistent coughing again but quickly realized the filter simply needed to be replaced. Great product. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super sleek, small, and powerful machine! I keep mine running on Auto all day, and it works beautifully. I had recently done a wood staining project in my apartment and the machine caught on so quickly that my air was not in the best quality. The night feature is a nice touch, the lights dim out automatically based on the amount of light its sensors. Overall, love it, so glad to own a Bissell Air Purifier!
