We've kept our windows and doors closed to keep out the toxic smoke, but a small amount of smoke is still finding its way into our home, most likely through the bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room vents. We're so thankful that we purchased two Bissell air220 air purifiers for our home at the start of allergy season this year. They have been keeping the air inside our home allergen and smoke free, and when we consider how much they have improved our quality of life these past several months, the money spent was worth it.

Don't know the filter life cycle yet, but happy to know the unit will inform me automatically when it is time to change the filters. I enjoy the wide range of fan settings in manual mode. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. This is the third Bissell product I have purchased over the past few months and have found that this company provides quality merchandise and excellent customer support.

If your answer is "none" to "hardly any," this is your air purifier! It is practically plug and play. Okay, you have to remove the plastic wrap from the filters, but that's it! The light is even color coded to let you know your air quality at a glance. It is super quiet too, so you can set it up and forget about it. My pets, who normally freak out about fans or new appliances, never even gave it a second glance.

The best feature has to be the auto function that changes speeds based on detected air quality levels (which are represented by a different color LED). And the design is borderline mid-century, which makes it pleasant to look at. Overall, very pleased!

I have pretty severe seasonal allergies and I was hoping this purifier would help in my bedroom at night. It is very quiet and calming. Easy to assemble. Thus far, my allergies have subsided a lot, so hopefully it is doing the trick along with my regimen.
