[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We put ours in our bedroom and even though it is super quiet, have actually enjoyed the little bit of white noise it adds to the environment when we are going to bed. My wife's allergies seem to have gone down since we started using it too. She thinks it looks like a suitcase, but considering we have it tucked in a corner it's been great. Bottom line if you need an air purifier, we've really liked this one.

After researching several air purifiers, this one covered the area size and was a reasonable price. It was easy to set up. It's barely noticeable because it sits against the wall and is very quiet. It also visibly reacts to changes in the air environment in the room. Very satisfied with it and all the products I've purchased from Bissell. Bissell has become my "go to" company for my air and home cleaning needs.

Satisfied with the air 220 but prefer the Bissell air 320

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell air 220 air purifier arrived with a slight paint defect on the top of the machine, which was disappointing since the air purifier is quite stylish looking. Overall, it's simple to use and I like the colored indicator lights and sleep diming functions. I recently sprayed some clear cleaning liquid in the room with the air purifier and the lights immediately changed from blue to green, confirming that the air filter was indeed detecting the cleaning solution in the air. The sound of the fan is pleasant and not distracting. I subsequently bought a Bissell air320 and I like that it has a numerical readout of the air quality, which the air220 does not have, otherwise they are very similar in design and function. .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took some tome to sift through different air filters but it came down to this Bissell for the main, large living and dining area and the smaller ones in a couple other areas of the house. They set up easily and were running for a couple days. We wondered if it was actually doing anything until a friend visited. Her visits have always been limited to a half hour, maybe 45 minutes before her cat allergies make it too uncomfortable to stay. We didn't realize until about 4 hours into her visit that she wasn't having any allergic reactions. She's since visited several times without any reactions. To me this is a clear indication this Bissell is doing what is promised
